Liying Cheok
Pilates, Active Rehab/Kinesiology
Liying completed her Bachelor of Science at Simon Fraser University, majoring in Kinesiology. She became a member of BCAK and is keen on using her experience to educate and help clients reach their functional and healthy lifestyle goals.
While working with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dieticians, and clinical psychiatrists Liying gained experience in various areas. She has experience with musculoskeletal conditions, traumatic brain injury and stroke rehab, post-MVA rehab, children with sports injuries, and Cerebral Palsy. She believes in the importance of education, assessment, and patient rapport to set up client-centered, individualized treatment plans according to their goals.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, working out, going for walks with her dog, and cafe hopping, in search of a good cup of coffee.
Liying is proficient in Mandarin and Korean.
